Chicago in January

First post of 2017!

Lately, it’s been raining a lot. So much that the river a little way behind our house has overflowed and left little pools of water in the prairie. Here’s a picture from a couple days ago…

A couple days ago, the temperature rose to about 60° F, (which is unusual for January in Chicago) and we all went out to soak in some fresh air. While outside, I saw a flock of geese flying by and I managed to get my camera out in time to snap a few shots.

That same day, I got this picture of the sun setting.

I hope you have a great day! ❤️

Peace. 🙂
